January 2012 Update
Happy New Year!
2011 Was a great year for The Showtimes Jr. Livestock Magazine! 2012 is looking to be an even bigger year! Just last night we had several big announcements on Facebook and theshowtimesmagazine.com. We anounced our brand new Showtimes iPhone App, revealed that we are printing over 10,000 issues, and that our new cover opens from middle! The Showtimes Magazine continues to grow with every issue. It seems that every issue we print is at least 32 pages larger than the same issue the year before! Continue reading to learn more about the exciting plans we have for this year!
iPhone App
We are really excited about this new feature! After months of work, and a trip to Nashville, TN, we are excited to announce our new iPhone App! Our iPhone App makes it easy for you to stay updated wherever you are! Features include: News, Events, Blog, YouTube, and Twitter Feed, as well as Facebook and Website links! Watch show videos right from your iPhone! Follow our blog to learn about the latest show winners or designs we are working on! This FREE livestock app is the first of its kind and keeps you updated with coverage of junior livestock shows nationwide!

On your iPhone, go to the App Store icon. Search "The Showtimes" and scroll down until you see our gold shield. Our new app is also compatible with iPod touch and iPads. It requires iOS 3.0 or later.
January/February 2012 Stock Show Edition
Our new issue is now available online! Our 2012 Stock Show Edition is without doubt one of the best issues we have ever put together! From its unique 3 page cover that opens from the middle and has metallic silver to our big feature on "Building the Showtimes" you are sure to enjoy this issue! You can view our new issue right here! 2012 Blackout Jackpot
Now that it's 2012 we are only 3 months away from our 2012 Blackout Steer Jackpot! We will have pre entry forms online soon! The Blackout pays $5,000 to the grand steer, $2,500 to reserve, and $1,000 to the 3rd overall steer! If the grand and reserve come out of the same class, the 3rd place steer from that class has the opportunity to show for 3rd Overall! We will also have exciting awards and will jackpot money back to the top 3 in every class! Plus, it is held the same weekend/same location as the 4th Annual Green and Gold Showdown that offers a market steer/market heifer show as well as a breeding heifer show that has over $10,000 in prizes!
