Design Contest
The Showtimes Jr. Livestock Magazine is offering a new Showtimes/Junior National Theme Design Contest! The new contest allows our readers to submit a half page design that focuses on the upcoming junior nationals. The contest is open to anyone with Photoshop/other design software (It doesn’t matter if you are an exhibitor, student, or graphic designer). We will select 3 winners to be featured in the May/June 2012 Junior National Edition of The Showtimes Magazine! Plus, the top 3 designers will receive cool prizes!
First Prize: 2 Year Subscription, Black Showtimes Drawstring Bag, Showtimes Cap, Design printed in The Showtimes and featured on theshowtimesmagazine.com!
Second Prize: 1 Year Subscription, Showtimes Cap, Design printed in The Showtimes and featured on theshowtimesmagazine.com!
Third Prize: Design printed in The Showtimes and featured on theshowtimesmagazine.com!

We are providing you with The Showtimes Jr. Livestock Magazine Logo and Shield Logo (above) to use in your design. If you need us to email you our logos as a psd or other file type, please email us at theshowtimes@yahoo.com. The design must be submitted as a PDF or JPEG file, 4.75” tall x 7.5” wide and 300 dpi. Feel free to use any colors, textures, photos or fonts that you wish. Qualifying designs must use at least one Showtimes Logo as the main focus of the design. Remember that the theme is The Showtimes Magazine and the 2012 Junior Nationals. You can focus on one breed or just Junior Nationals in general.
The contest runs from April 10th – May 1st. You may submit as many designs as you wish.
All entries must be received by May 1, 2012. Winners will be announced in early May.
The Showtimes, Inc. reserves the right to use the submitted designs in the magazine as well as online. You may only use The Showtimes Jr. Livestock Magazine Logo and Shield logo for this contest.
Please send your designs to theshowtimes@yahoo.com with subject line: "2012 Design Competition". Please include your Name, State and a brief paragraph about your design.
If your design is too large to email you may also send it with YouSendIt or Dropbox. You can mail your design on a disk or flash drive to The Showtimes Magazine - 14510 Brighton Road – Brighton, Colorado 80601.
